Michael Witwer

Michael Witwer has a diverse work experience in various tax and accounting roles. Michael started their career as a Senior Accountant at FSU Foundation, Inc. in 1990. Michael then worked as a Tax Auditor at Florida Department of Revenue from 1991 to 1993. Following that, they joined Marriott International, Inc. as a Tax Accountant from 1993 to 1995. Witwer then moved to Gannett Co., Inc. where they held multiple roles such as Senior Tax Accountant, Senior Tax Analyst, Manager/Federal Tax Planning, Manager/State Taxes, Manager/Tax Research and Planning, Director/Taxes, and Vice President/Taxes from 1995 to 2015. Currently, they are working at Oshkosh Corporation. Michael started as the Senior Director, Accounting for Income Taxes in 2015 and was promoted to Senior Director, Tax in 2022. Presently, they hold the position of Vice President, Tax since 2023.

Michael Witwer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University - College of Business. Michael also holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from George Mason University - Costello College of Business. Additionally, they have a Juris Doctor degree in Law from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
