Saliha Haq is currently serving as a Litigation Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP since September 2023, having previously completed an articling term with the firm. Saliha served as the Faculty of Law Representative for the University of Calgary Students' Union from May 2021 to May 2023, where advocacy and communication with university administration on behalf of law students were key responsibilities. In addition, Saliha gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern and Researcher at Justice Base, where work included drafting a proposed citizenship law for Myanmar under UNHCR sponsorship and researching gender-based violence's impact within transitional justice processes. Saliha also contributed as a Research Assistant for Professor Tscherning at the University of Calgary, focusing on the regulatory framework surrounding geothermal projects in Alberta. Saliha holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Calgary, completed in 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution, earned in 2019.
