Indranil Bhattacharya

Indranil Bhattacharya has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as an Executive Pilot at OSS Air Management Pvt. Ltd. since August 2022, where operations include flying the AW-109SP Grand New and A-109 E Power for various VIP, state government, and charter flights. Prior to this role, Indranil was an Executive Pilot at the Civil Aviation Department from June 2012 to July 2022, engaging in VIP flying, search and rescue, medevac, and special operations. Indranil held a director position for Helicopter Operations at the Indian Air Force from January 2010 to March 2011 and served as Director of Flight Safety and Senior Pilot for the United Nations between December 2008 and January 2010. Indranil also contributed as Directing Staff at the Defence Services Staff College from April 2004 to December 2008 and as a Staff Officer to the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff in the Indian Air Force from May 1998 to March 2000, alongside an instructional role at the National Defence Academy from 1994 to 1997. Educationally, Indranil holds an MSc MPhil in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras.
