Scott E. Thayer is a highly experienced architecture professional currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Otak since April 2022. As the owner of Scott Thayer Architect since August 2017, Thayer combines entrepreneurial leadership with extensive project management expertise gained from previous roles, including Project Manager and Shareholder at Yost Grube Hall Architecture, and Sustainable Design Leader, Principal, and Associate at Ankrom Moisan Architects. Thayer's architectural career began in the late 1980s with positions at BOORA Architects and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. Thayer holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, Thayer has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon School of Architecture & Allied Arts.
