Tom Real has extensive experience in the construction industry, with a particular focus on engineering, pre-construction, project management, and site development. Tom most recently served as the Vice President of Engineering & Pre-Construction at Outside the Lines, Inc. since July 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Project Management at the same company starting in October 2008. From July 2005 to October 2008, Tom was the Vice President at Site Development Studios, Inc. Before that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Rock & Waterscape Systems, Inc. from July 1985 to June 2005. Early in their career, Tom worked as a Surveyor / Instrument Man at F. Robert Bell & Associates from May 1984 to June 1985.
Tom Real attended Clarkson University from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering. In September 2019, they completed Bluebeam University's Revu Basics certification program offered by Bluebeam, Inc. Furthermore, in January 2017, they obtained Procore certifications, including Procore Certified: Associate and Procore Certified: Subcontractor, from Procore Technologies.
