Rutger van Boxtel

Rutger van Boxtel serves as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Otrium, overseeing operations, legal compliance, people and culture, sustainability, procurement, and IT security since July 2021. Previous roles include General Counsel with a focus on sustainability and corporate governance, and senior associate at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate litigation, and pro bono work in the cultural sector. Additional experience includes positions as a foreign associate at Kirkland & Ellis, a member of the D66 party's dispute resolution body, and a legal assistant at Stibbe. Rutger holds an LLM from the University of Amsterdam and has pursued further education in business economics and mergers and acquisitions.
