Ian McRae is currently a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University since September 2024, while also serving as an Officer in Transit Communications for the City of Ottawa since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles in environmental communications and as a communications technologist at Kawartha Conservation from June 2021 to June 2023, as well as a Web Communications Advisor at Carleton University from May 2020 to August 2020. Ian started a communications career as a Communications Assistant with the Alzheimer Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, and Haliburton in July 2019. Ian holds a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies with Honours and a Minor in Philosophy from Carleton University (2017-2021) and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication at the same institution from September 2024 to April 2026.
