Jason Solomon, M.Eng, P.Eng, is an experienced process engineer and project lead currently working for the City of Ottawa in wastewater collections, where responsibilities include project and commissioning leadership for capital upgrades to pumping stations and the development of design guidelines. Prior to this role, Jason worked at Stantec focusing on design and upgrades for water and wastewater projects across Eastern Canada and held positions at GHD as a process mechanical engineer and environmental engineer, dealing with various aspects of wastewater treatment, landfill design, and environmental assessments. Jason's earlier experience includes mechanical and electrical coordination at Sharaka Holdings, application engineering at Saint-Gobain Abrasives, and project training at Sunex Tube Tools Pvt. Ltd. Jason holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
