Brian Hutton

Brian Hutton is a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since April 2013, where research focuses on knowledge synthesis, network meta-analyses, and pragmatic trials in oncology. Hutton previously served as the Director of the Knowledge Synthesis Unit, managing a team of 15 and overseeing projects for diverse clients, including the Public Health Agency of Canada. Additional roles have included Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa, teaching graduate courses in epidemiology and public health, and positions at various health research organizations contributing to systematic reviews and clinical trials. Education includes a PhD in Epidemiology from McGill University and degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from Carleton University.
