Christina Addison is a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, where a translational laboratory-based research program focuses on the proteinaceous microenvironment's effects on tumor growth, metastasis, angiogenesis, and response to anti-cancer treatments. Christina Addison specializes in integrin signaling and its blockade as a novel therapeutic strategy to inhibit metastatic tumor growth. Previously, Christina Addison served as a Scientist, leading a grant-funded academic laboratory and mentoring graduate and post-doctoral trainees. Christina Addison holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology and Genetics from the University of Guelph.
