Otzar HaChochma is the world’s largest digital library of Jewish books, featuring over 146,000 titles scanned page-by-page in their original format.
The project began in Jerusalem nearly two decades ago by Or HaChochma Publishing and has since grown into a globally recognized platform used by rabbis, researchers, educators, and scholars worldwide.

The library includes works from across all areas of Jewish knowledge: Tanach and its commentaries, Talmud Bavli and Yerushalmi, Halacha, responsa literature, Jewish thought, Kabbalah and Chassidut, and modern Jewish research. Multiple editions of foundational texts are included — such as various versions of the Talmud and Shulchan Aruch — preserving the richness and diversity of the Torah world.

At the heart of Otzar HaChochma lies a powerful, high-accuracy OCR search engine that enables users to locate words, phrases, or topics instantly — even within a sea of hundreds of thousands of pages. Advanced tools include automatic recognition and linking of classic references, access to commentators by topic or page, searchable indexing, and direct links across texts through the innovative “Mefarshei HaOtzar” feature.

Otzar HaChochma continues to grow with over 5,000 new books added each year and offers full and limited versions tailored to different user needs.
