OUR Credit Union

OUR Credit Union has provided financial services to individuals, families and businesses within our community since 1959. In November 1959, the credit union was chartered to serve the savings and loan needs of the St. Dennis Parish community. The credit union operated as St. Dennis Parish Credit Union until June 1984 when there was a charter change and name changed to Royal Oak Community Credit Union. This change allowed the credit union to serve the community in the City of Royal Oak. This change was in effect until March 1999 when we received a charter expansion to serve the City of Royal Oak and surrounding areas. To reflect this expansion, the credit union name was changed to Royal Oakland Community Credit Union. In April 2006, the credit union received approval to serve the communities of Oakland and Macomb counties. Finally, in April 2007, the credit union name was changed to OUR Credit Union.
