Chin Heung Bong

Chin Heung Bong, PhD, is an accomplished engineer specializing in thermal and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), currently serving as Principal Thermal CFD Engineer at Our Next Energy since March 2022. With extensive experience in thermal analysis and simulation, notable achievements include the development of a 3D model for battery pack cooling systems and contributions to the championship-winning Dodge Charger Funny Car Dragster aerodynamics. Previous roles encompass senior engineering positions at BETA CAE Systems USA, FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Haas F1 Team, and academic roles at the University of Tasmania. Chin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, along with multiple degrees in Engineering from the University of Tasmania and RMIT University.
