Nishad Manohar Rao

Nishad Manohar Rao is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in product testing and marketing, field applications, and technical support. Currently serving as a Product Test Engineer and Product Marketing Engineer at Ouster since July 2021, Nishad has developed expertise in the Qi Standard under the Wireless Power Consortium during a previous role as a Field Application Engineer at nok9 AB. Earlier experience includes testing hydrophones at Onda Corporation and providing technical assistance as a Student Library Assistant at San Francisco State University. Nishad has held technical support positions at HP, interned in automation processes at Armax Automation Private Limited and TVS Motor Company, and focused on programmable logic controllers during internships at Macurex Pvt. Ltd. Nishad holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Francisco State University and an additional Master's in Introduction to Robotics from UC Berkeley, complemented by a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Engineering from BNM Institute Of Technology.
