Louis-Philippe Querel has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Louis-Philippe started their career as a Supervisor and Head Lifeguard at GVL-AES Inc in 2009 and then went on to work in the same role at La Saison Du Passeur from 2010 to 2012.
In 2013, Querel had an internship at Radialpoint where they initially worked as a Software Quality Assurance Intern and later transitioned to a Software Developer role. Louis-Philippe worked on various technology stacks and contributed to projects such as implementing a SOAP to RESTful proxy and integrating internal CRM with an external partner.
Querel continued their academic journey at Concordia University, where they served as an ENCS Laboratory Demonstrator in 2014 and then became a Teaching Assistant from 2016 to 2017. As a Teaching Assistant, they supervised student teams completing software engineering projects and utilized agile methodologies.
From 2015 to 2019, Querel worked at AppHelp by AppDirect as a Senior Software Developer. Louis-Philippe took an active role in significant projects, took ownership of some projects, and handled additional responsibilities due to team structure changes.
In 2019, Querel joined Elevate Security as a Senior Software Developer and implemented the initial product vision to inform customers about workforce security constraints. Louis-Philippe designed and developed microservices, created custom dashboards, and implemented continuous deployment pipelines.
Currently, Querel is employed at Outbox Technology as a Back End Developer since 2021.
Louis-Philippe Querel completed their High School Diploma at Dubai American Academy from 2004 to 2008. Louis-Philippe then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Software Engineering at Concordia University from 2008 to 2014. Following that, they went on to obtain a Master of Applied Science degree in Software Engineering from Concordia University, completing it from 2014 to 2017.
