Ashley Fassett

Ashley Fassett, MSc, currently serves as Membership and Event Manager at Outlier Media, where responsibilities include managing operations and coordinating membership and fundraising efforts. In addition to this role, Ashley is a member of the National Union of Journalists, engaging with one of the largest independent journalists’ unions globally. Previous experience includes serving as a Communications Intern at Belle Isle Conservancy and as a Class Representative during a Master's program at the University of Glasgow, where Ashley studied international journalism and related fields. Prior teaching roles in English at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools demonstrate a strong background in education, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and a postgraduate certificate from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
