Dr Sari Vehtari

Dr. Sari Vehtari currently serves as the Director and Head of the CIO Office at Outokumpu since January 2023, focusing on IT strategy, portfolio management, governance, and enterprise architecture, with notable achievements in establishing IT governance and effective strategic steering. Prior roles include Head of the CDO Office in IT Services at Aalto University, where Dr. Vehtari managed the digital transformation program and improved cyber security processes. Earlier experience includes strategic positions at Fortum, where Dr. Vehtari led IT strategy and supply chain processes, as well as roles at Nokia overseeing supply chain architecture and management. Dr. Vehtari holds a PhD in Industrial Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and an MSc in Operations Management from LUT University.
