Position Description:

Outpost Technologies is seeking a talented Operations Technician/Analyst to support government testing efforts by operating and maintaining EO/IR systems.

The Candidate will work on a multi-disciplinary team to support EO/IR system operations for government testing environments. The Candidate will be responsible for equipment set up/breakdown, inspection, tracking, troubleshooting, data collection, data and equipment evaluation, and analysis. This position requires up to 50% travel.

Communication skills are strongly desired. The Candidate must be self-motivated and produce excellent work that exceeds customer expectations. The Candidate must always present a professional demeanor while representing Outpost Technologies to customers and stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Travelling to support EO/IR operation at various CONUS locations

  • EO/IR system operation, data collection, and analysis

  • Equipment set up/break down

  • Monitoring equipment condition and maintenance recommendations

  • Equipment support coordination

Basic Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs.

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technical (engineering/science) field and 3+ years of experience or 9+ years of technician experience

  • Demonstrated work experience with basic networking and operating system management

  • Hands-on technical experience

  • Time management and planning skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations
