Alberto Soragna

Alberto Soragna is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software and robotics. Currently serving as Principal Engineer for Software Platform & Data at Outrider since January 2025, Alberto previously held various roles at iRobot from August 2018 to January 2025, including Principal Robotics Engineer, where responsibilities included designing software architecture for consumer mobile robots and implementing navigation algorithms in C/C++. Earlier experience includes a Data Scientist position at Musixmatch, focusing on machine learning and deep neural networks for natural language processing, and a software development role at KUKA Robotics, contributing to algorithms for industrial mobile robotics navigation. Alberto holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
