Jesse Gettert, EIT is an experienced mechanical engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. Jesse began their career in 2008 as a Bicycle and Ski Technician/Sales Associate at REI. In 2009, they became a Metal Shop Apprentice at Red Point Metalworks, where they gained experience with machine tools, design/layout, and fabrication. In 2015, they began working as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at TERSUS Solutions, where they designed and implemented a CO2 test cell and a high pressure camera dome. Jesse also worked as a Math Tutor for both Mathnasium and Varsity Tutors. In 2017, they worked as a CAD Designer and CNC Operator at Puzzah!, where they created detailed models, blueprints, and drawings. In 2018, they became a Project Engineer at CML Security, LLC. Finally, in 2019, they began working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Cooperman Technologies. In 2022, they took on the role of Mechanical Engineer at Outrider, where they complete detailed designs using 3D mechanical CAD tools and generates engineering drawings.
Jesse Gettert, EIT obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines between 2011 and 2017. Jesse also attended Metropolitan State University of Denver between 2009 and 2011, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In 2018, they obtained their Engineer In Training (EIT) certification from NCEES. In 2020, they obtained their Certified Professional Autodesk Inventor 2020 certification from Autodesk. Finally, in 2021, they obtained their Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) certification from Dassault Systèmes.
