Feng Chen

Feng (Frank) Chen is a Senior Solutions Architect at Ovation Data Services since November 2022. Prior to this role, Feng served as Assistant Director of the Rockphysics Laboratory at the University of Houston from September 2018 to November 2022, focusing on unconventional reservoir exploration and carbon capture research. From October 2014 to September 2018, Feng worked as a Senior Consultant, promoting solutions for enhanced oil recovery and unconventional play studies. Previous positions include Product Manager and Operations Technical Manager at CGG, where responsibilities included overseeing global service projects and developing benchmark workflows. Feng's career began at Schlumberger, where roles encompassed log data processing and geophysical team leadership. Feng holds a Master's degree in Geophysics and Seismology and a Bachelor's degree in Petrophysics from China University of Petroleum.
