Steve Benson has extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Steve is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Ovative Group since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Salo LLC from June 2019 to September 2020. Before that, they were the Owner of Excelsior Sawdust Co., where they managed a wood shop specializing in custom woodworks from September 2017 to August 2019. Steve also held multiple senior director and director positions at Target between 2007 and 2018, including roles in technology finance, capital finance, marketing finance, risk management, and merchandise finance.
Steve Benson has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Concordia College, which they obtained between the years 1985 and 1989. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1994 to 1995.
