Renee Volchko

Renee Volchko is a seasoned designer with a robust background in UI/UX and visual communication. Currently serving as Designer II - UI/UX at OverDrive since May 2022, Renee also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Kent State University, teaching courses in Graphic Design and Interaction Design. Previous freelance experience as a designer and creative director showcased significant contributions, including a 90% reduction in animation file sizes through advanced export techniques. At Anthony Thomas Advertising, Renee directed creative projects and edited episodes for a restoration series, while earlier tenure at WKSU earned recognition with an Ohio SPJ Award for Best Website. Renee holds a BFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University, completed in 2011.
