Neal Modi

Neal Modi currently serves as Associate General Counsel at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, focusing on Special Assets and Monitoring since September 2022. Prior to this role, Neal was an associate at Covington & Burling LLP from October 2020 to September 2022 and held the position of Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. Trenga at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia from September 2019 to September 2020. Neal's prior experience includes working as an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from October 2017 to September 2019, and as a summer associate at the same firm in 2016. Neal also interned in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorneys' Offices in the summer of 2015 and worked as a paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice from August 2012 to June 2014. Neal holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
