Prior to this role, Tim held various positions at Tropical Shipping from January 2017 to October 2024, including Vice President of Operations & Marine, Vice President of Operations for NVOCCs & Global Logistics, and Assistant Vice President for NVOCCs, Global Logistics, and LCL Operations. Tim's earlier experience includes serving as Head of Trade for Central America, Caribbean, and North America at Sealand – A Maersk Company, and Director of US Government Cargo Execution at Maersk Line. Tim's career at Tropical Shipping began in 2000, leading to roles such as Director of Corporate Pricing, Country Manager for Turks & Caicos Islands, and Management Trainee. Tim holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, as well as two Master’s degrees in International Management and Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Tim's foundational education includes a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
