Overton Park Conservancy is the nonprofit organization that manages Memphis'​ central green space, the iconic park that is woven through the cultural fabric of the city. Overton Park is Memphis'​ most visited municipal park, offering 342 acres of natural and cultural amenities that have been part of Memphians'​ stories since before the park opened in 1901. 

Relying on community support, the Conservancy invests in day-to-day management, capital improvements, and long-range planning to ensure Memphians have access to high-quality public space. 

We connect Memphians from all walks of life, offering a safe, welcoming, and active place for community to gather.

We protect land that belongs to the people of Memphis, from the towering trees of the Old Forest to the open space of the Greensward.

We inspire citizens to be their best selves by offering a place that encourages artistic expression, imaginative play, volunteer service, exploration and immersion in the natural and cultural life of the city.
