Overture Center for the Arts
Emily Gruenewald has extensive experience in development and philanthropy roles. Emily served as the Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Development at Overture Center for the Arts, where they provided strategic direction for fundraising and led the communications department. Prior to that, Emily was the Executive Director of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, overseeing a team and setting the strategic direction for philanthropy and alumni activities. Emily also held roles at Janesville Performing Arts Center, Madison Youth Choirs, and CTM - Children's Theatre of Madison.
Emily Gruenewald obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2013 to 2016.
