Overture Center for the Arts
J. Adam Shelton currently serves as an Associate Lecturer of Voice at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater since August 2017 and owns Shelton Private Voice Studio, L.L.C., where responsibilities include consolidating studio locations to enhance customer relations and managing marketing efforts. As a Jerry Awards Adjudicator for the Overture Center for the Arts, J. Adam Shelton evaluates high school musical productions, providing feedback and nominations for awards. Previous roles include Tenor Section Leader at First United Methodist Church, Director of Music at West Koshkonong Lutheran Church, and Opera Teaching Artist with Opening Minds Through the Arts. J. Adam Shelton holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Overture Center for the Arts is a stunning architectural landmark in the heart of Madison’s thriving cultural arts district.
