Rudy Lienau

Rudy Lienau has a diverse work background spanning several decades. Rudy began their career in 1980 as an Assistant Director at Sangamon State University, where they worked until 1983. From 1983 to 2003, they served as an Events Manager at the Madison Civic Center, responsible for overseeing various events. In 2003, Rudy joined the Overture Center for the Arts as the VP of Operations, where they managed a team of professionals and oversaw the facility's theatrical services, front of house services, and maintenance and custodial services. During this role, they negotiated contracts, managed budgets, and supervised a staff of over 400. Most recently, since 2017, they have worked as a Consultant at Classic Silent Cinema.

Rudy Lienau attended UW-Parkside from 1971 to 1976, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
