Overture Center for the Arts
Shaun Kangas is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the performing arts and graphic design. Currently serving as Co-Owner at Pink Carnations Press since March 2022, Shaun also has a long-standing role as a Stagehand for the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees - Local 251 since March 2005, showcasing expertise in audio-video and stage carpentry. As a Freelance Graphic Designer since October 2010, Shaun creates a range of visual materials including business and event logos, as well as illustrations. Previous roles include a Stagehand position at Overture Center for the Arts and a Production Artist at Express Custom Products, where custom beer tap handles were designed for craft brewers and private buyers. Shaun obtained an Associate's degree in Graphic Design/Illustration from Madison Area Technical College and holds a certificate from Madison Media Institute in Live Sound, Music Production, Music Business, and Recording studio technology.
