Marc Prioleau

Marc Prioleau is an experienced executive in the field of mapping and location services, currently serving as the Executive Director of Overture Maps Foundation since May 2023, a project under the Linux Foundation dedicated to creating open map data. Previously, Marc held the position of Head of Business Development at Meta from August 2019 to May 2023, overseeing partnerships and commercial deals in the location sector. Marc's background includes significant roles at Mapbox, Uber, and as Managing Director of Prioleau Advisors, which provided advisory services in local marketing and location-based services. With a foundational education in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Marc has also contributed to various advisory roles and board memberships, including at Mapbox and Lokku, while leading strategic initiatives in several technology companies.
