Gil Ben-Itzhak

Gil Ben-Itzhak has a diverse work experience. Gil is currently the Head of Business Intelligence at Overwolf since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Vision.bi where they held several roles including Director of BigData from October 2017 to February 2020, Tableau Lead from March 2016 to August 2018, Product Manager from February 2017 to January 2018, Project Manager from July 2016 to October 2017, BI Expert & Lead from September 2014 to July 2016, and BI Developer and Analyst from August 2011 to August 2014. Before their career in the tech industry, Gil served in the Israel Defense Forces as an Operations Commanding Officer from 2006 to 2007, where they gained experience in team management and daily operations and logistics.

Gil Ben-Itzhak's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained in 1998 from Gymnasia Hertzelia High School. During this time, they majored in Physics and Computer Science.

Gil then attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2011 and earned a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering & Management.

In 2013, Gil enrolled in Tel Aviv University and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the field of Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MoTIE). Gil completed their MBA program in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Gil Ben-Itzhak has obtained various certifications. In 2017, they received the Tableau Desktop 10 Qualified Associate certification from Tableau Software. Following this, in 2019, they completed the "Airflow: Basics for Beginners" and "Mastering Airflow: Workflow Management" courses from Udemy. In 2020, they obtained certifications in "Tableau Consumer" and "Tableau Author" from Tableau Software, as well as completing the "Apache Airflow: The Hands-On Guide" course from Udemy. Most recently, in 2021, Gil achieved two certifications from Astronomer: "Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals" and "Astronomer Certification DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow".
