Shawn Maxwell

Shawn Maxwell is an experienced geophysicist specializing in microseismicity with a strong background in geophysical and geomechanical advisory roles. Currently serving as a Geophysical and Geomechanical Advisor at Ovintiv since February 2019, Shawn Maxwell previously held similar positions at Newfield Exploration and Anadarko/Rockies. Shawn Maxwell's extensive career also includes leadership as President and CTO of IMaGE and as a Microseismic Advisor at Schlumberger. Additional experience encompasses roles as Chief Geophysicist at Pinnacle Technologies, Manager of Petroleum Services at ESG, and Lecturer at Keele University. Shawn Maxwell earned a Ph.D. in Induced Microseismicity from Queen's University between 1985 and 1992.
