Merideth Cooper-Steiger

Merideth Cooper-Steiger, PhD, is a highly experienced Global Technical Project Manager and Portfolio Manager at Owens Corning since June 2018, where leadership of cross-functional teams ensures timely execution of critical product and technology development initiatives. Previously, Merideth served as Senior Scientist II for Global Strategic Sourcing, developing a global dual sourcing strategy for Nonwovens, and as a Product Engineer managing a $110 million gypsum portfolio. Early career roles include Advanced R&D Engineer/Senior Scientist in non-wovens, Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University focusing on protein purification technology, and Research Engineer at Cargill, where significant contributions were made to process design projects. Merideth holds a PhD and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton.
