Owensboro Racing & Gaming will be a brand new $100 million gaming and entertainment complex. It will feature 600 state-of-the-art historical racing machines, a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and a food and beverage option. This exciting new entertainment venue will be located on an approximately 20-acre site at the corner of US Highway 60 and Wrights Landing Road east of the City of Owensboro, Kentucky. This project is estimated to generate $125 million in annual regional economic impact, including the creation of more than 200 construction jobs and 200 permanent jobs. At its foundation, Owensboro Racing & Gaming will be a celebration of Kentucky’s rich horse racing history and will support this sport through profits generated onsite. Rooted in the success of Ellis Park’s racing product, Owensboro will further contribute to a healthy and sustainable horse racing industry here in Kentucky.
