Jerome Pesenti is a highly accomplished leader in artificial intelligence and technology, currently serving as the Founder of Sizzle AI. Previously, Jerome held the position of VP of AI at Meta and was a member of the Board of Directors at BenevolentAI, where Jerome also served as CEO of BenevolentTech. Additionally, Jerome has contributed to Pittsburgh Dataworks as Chairman of the Board and has extensive experience at IBM, including roles as Vice President of the Watson Platform, Vice President of Watson Core Technology, and Chief Scientist for Big Data. Jerome earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Paris-Sud University and completed studies at Ecole normale supérieure.

Additionally, Owkin leads several federated learning consortia, including; MELLODDY, to facilitate 'co-opetive' drug discovery between pharma companies, and Healthchain, to allow collaborative research across multiple hospitals. Owkin was co-founded in 2016 by Thomas Clozel, MD, a clinical research doctor and former assistant professor in clinical hematology, and by Gilles Wainrib, Ph.D., an academic pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence in biology.
