Syazani Abdul Aziz

Syazani Abdul Aziz is a seasoned audio signal processing expert with extensive experience in algorithm development, currently serving as a Senior Principal Audio Signal Processing Engineer and Algorithm Developer at Owl Labs since January 2022. Specializing in audio solutions for robotic smart video conferencing systems, Syazani designs and implements advanced audio algorithms to enhance video conferencing and audio localization. Prior to Owl Labs, Syazani worked at Motorola Solutions from July 2004 to January 2022 as a Senior Staff Audio Software Engineer, focusing on audio solutions for mission-critical land mobile radios, as well as developing DSP software for modems and audio systems. Early career experience includes an internship at Motorola Solutions, where Syazani developed a real-time DSP simulation for Voice Activity Detection. Syazani holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Computer Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, earned in 2004.
