Owlet’s Finance team is looking for an experienced Director of Investor Relations with an expertise in developing and executing the Company’s investor relations activities and communications. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company's long-term business objectives.
- Lead the development and dissemination of all investor-facing materials, including quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and analyst reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of investors, including institutional investors, analysts, and individual shareholders.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support investor communications and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of virtual and in-person investor meetings and conferences, including coordination with the CEO and CFO.
- Proactively identify and address investor concerns and questions, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Accounting, Marketing, and Sales, to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and effectively communicate the company's value proposition to investors.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans related to investor relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations and reporting requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience within a public company, with a strong emphasis on investor relations, finance, or roles within investment banking or asset management. Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
- In-depth knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methodologies as utilized by analysts and investors.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret capital market trends.
- Exceptional ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership.
