Simon Wallis has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Simon is currently working as a Technical Lead for EV Systems and Controls at OX Delivers. Prior to this, they served as a Director at Control & Calibration Solutions Limited. Simon also worked as a Senior Controls Engineer at ClearMotion and as an Engineering Research Consultant at Jaguar Land Rover. Simon has also held positions such as Senior Controller Calibration Engineer at ClearMotion, Calibration Engineer at ZF Group, and Hybrid Calibration Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover. Additionally, they have worked as an Engineer at Prodrive and MAHLE, where they gained experience in areas such as reverse engineering, strategy development, control system application, engine testing, and design engineering.
Simon Wallis studied at three different universities, completing their education in a chronological order. From 2004 to 2006, they attended Swansea Metropolitan University, where they earned a BEng Hons (1st) degree in Motorsport Design and Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at Birmingham City University from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a PgCert in Automotive Calibration and Control. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, Simon attended Coventry University, specializing in Control Systems through the Technical Accreditation Scheme (TAS) Modules.
