James Ryan

James Ryan is an experienced investor with ongoing roles at Green Lithium, Piomic Medical, and Oxbury Bank Plc since 2022. Previously, James served as Corporate Secretariat at a Private Family Office from 2018 to 2024 and gained experience as a Trader - Global Trade Wheat (trainee) at Archer Daniels Midland Company between 2015 and 2018. A Commodity Consultant at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative from 2014 to 2015, James analyzed the financial system related to the commodity value chain. An earlier career included a Capacity Building Intern role at UNORCID and a Solicitor position at Russell McVeagh, where legal advice was provided on corporate and commercial law. James also achieved an illustrious rugby career as an All Black, representing New Zealand at various levels. James holds an MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford and multiple degrees from universities in New Zealand, including a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Law.
