Christopher Philip Shaw

Christopher Philip Shaw is a seasoned professional in the publishing industry, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University since February 2008, with prior experience as an Associate Lecturer in Publishing. Christopher also holds the position of Senior Associate at Bertoli Mitchell since January 2013. Previously, Christopher led the Health Sciences, Higher Education, and Further Education divisions as Managing Director at Hodder Education from 2008 to 2012, and served as Managing Director at Elsevier from 2001 to 2007, as well as Managing Director and President of North America Operations at Butterworth Heinemann from 1993 to 2001. Earlier roles include Marketing Manager at Butterworth Scientific and Churchill Livingstone, and Promotions Manager at Academic Press. Christopher holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education from Oxford Brookes University.
