Mike Jennison

Mike Jennison is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the field of electronics and instrumentation. Currently serving as Principal ASIC Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since September 2011, Mike specializes in chips for biosensors. Previously, Mike held the position of Senior FPGA Engineer at the same company, focusing on DSP algorithms in FPGAs. Prior to this, Mike contributed as a Contractor at CCFE from 2003 to 2011, working on the design and integration of physics and electronic instruments for the JET project. Mike also served as Senior Design Engineer at Celoxica from 2001 to 2003, developing FPGA-based applications, and at Oxford Instruments from 1985 to 2000, where responsibilities included the design and development of electronic products for physics instrumentation. Mike holds a BA in Electrical Sciences Tripos from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1974 and 1977.
