Shivam Patel has a diverse work experience in various roles related to the field of electrical engineering and fiber optics. Shivam started their career in 2017 as a Jr. Electrical Engineer at Laksh Solar, where they gained experience in the field of solar energy. In 2021, Shivam joined OZ Optics Ltd. as a Fiber Optic Technician and worked there until 2022. Shivam then moved on to Energy Network Services Inc. in 2022 as a Lighting Energy Analyst. Currently, Shivam is working at OZ Optics Ltd. as a Fiber optic technician (Team lead).
Shivam Patel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Navrachana University in the years 2013 to 2017. Afterward, they pursued two postgraduate certificates, the first in Energy Management at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2018 to 2019, and the second in Environment Management and Assessment from 2019 to 2020 at the same institution. Shivam also completed additional certifications such as the LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2020, Energy Within Environmental Constraints from HarvardX in 2020, Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) from the Association of Energy Engineers in December of 2021, and Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services in 2021.
