Luis Costa

Luis Costa is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in modeling and simulation. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Ozen Engineering, Inc., an Ansys Elite Channel Partner, since January 2022, Costa also holds an adjunct professor position at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since January 2019. Previously, Costa contributed as a Research Scientist/Engineer for the US Department of Defense from September 2008 to January 2022, and had roles as an adjunct professor at Rowan University from August 2017 to December 2019 and as an Assistant Research Engineer at Sealed Air Corporation from September 2007 to June 2008. Early career development included research assistant positions at NJIT, focusing on bioactive composites and pharmacokinetics. Costa possesses a robust background in thermal and mechanical characterization, along with expertise in the optimization of material properties and the development of predictive computer programs for material performance evaluation.
