Richa Pathak

Richa Pathak is a highly experienced scientist specializing in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist and Manager at PacBio since January 2022, Richa has previously held key positions including Senior Scientist in R&D, Regulatory, Compliance, and EHS at Ultima Genomics from December 2016 to December 2021, and Senior Scientist at an unspecified biotech start-up in 2016. Earlier roles include Senior Chemist at another biotech start-up from 2012 to 2015 and Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Konstanz from 2008 to 2011, where Richa focused on the synthesis of a rigid branched adamantane motif for DNA networks. Richa earned a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry/Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the Central Drug Research Institute, along with a Postdoctoral degree at the University of Konstanz supported by DAAD German Academic Exchange Service.
