Sachin Desai

Sachin Desai has extensive experience in legal and policy roles focused on energy and environmental law. Currently serving as General Counsel and Vice President of Policy at Pacific Fusion since April 2025, Sachin Desai is instrumental in shaping the legal framework for the future of fusion energy. Before this position, Sachin Desai was General Counsel at Helion, leading the legal and policy team to promote clean electricity solutions. Prior roles include Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells, where Sachin Desai addressed clean energy legal issues, and law clerk positions at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Sachin Desai began earlier career as a Business Analyst at Deloitte Consulting and as a Luce Scholar at the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
