David Howell is the current CEO of Pacific Life Re. David has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, starting their career at Swiss Re in 1987. In 2006, they became the CEO of Scottish Re Group Limited, and they held that position for two years before coming to Pacific Life in 2008.
David Howell attended the University of Waterloo, where they received a B. Math in actuarial science. Prior to that, they attended Stephen Leacock high school.
They work with Howard T. Hirakawa - Senior Vice President, Investment Advisor Operations, Joshua D Scott - Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Management, and Thomas Gibbons - Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Treasury and Tax. David Howell reports to James T. Morris, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
