Laurie serves as the chief financial officer for the Retirement Solutions Division. In her role, she is accountable for the financial and risk management operations of the division, as well as the development of financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems to preserve division assets and report accurate financial results.

Laurie joined Pacific Life in 2017 as vice president of Finance for the Retirement Solutions Division where she was responsible for the Finance and Accounting groups. Prior to joining Pacific Life, Laurie was senior vice president and group head of Risk Assurance for QBE. In this global role, she was responsible for the leadership over QBE’s global control assurance program, risk assessment and reporting processes, which were executed across 38 countries. Her previous roles include senior vice president and head of ERM for QBE’s North American Division; senior vice president and risk and compliance executive for Bank of America’s insurance and debt cancellation operations; and executive vice president, chief risk officer and chief accounting officer for Countrywide Financials’ insurance operations. Laurie has also served as a board member for Balboa Insurance and as the audit senior manager for Pacific Life during her 11-year tenure at Deloitte. She has led several national and global transformation implementations; managed rating agency and regulatory relationships; structured and negotiated reinsurance programs and led strategic planning.
