Earlier experience at GSK includes roles such as R&D Science Equipment Lifecycle Asset Management Lead, Global Director for Continuous Processing for Drug Substance Synthesis, and Global Director for Chemical Catalysis and Novel Methods, where Douglas played a key role in optimizing drug manufacturing processes and developing strategic visions for R&D. Douglas's educational background includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Chemistry from Saint Louis University, along with post-doctoral fellowship training at The University of Texas at Austin.
