Khaled Shahwan

Khaled Shahwan is a seasoned professional in the fields of engineering and advanced technology, currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Strategy & Advanced Technology at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since 2023. With a rich history of leadership roles, Khaled was a Sr. Technology Leader at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from 1999 to 2022, where responsibilities included technology strategies, advanced vehicle engineering, and autonomous vehicle development. Additionally, Khaled has contributed to various technical advisory boards and partnerships across industry and academia since 2013. An adjunct professor at Lawrence Technological University from 2016 to 2020, Khaled taught advanced mechanical engineering courses and has been involved in research and development roles at distinguished organizations, including Ford Motor Company and the University of Michigan. Khaled holds a Ph.D. and multiple master's degrees in aerospace and civil engineering from the University of Michigan, along with an Executive Education credential from The Wharton School.
